Q: Why can't I run AUS? Why is the Order Underwriting greyed out on Dual AUS?
A: AUS is not available for all Non-QM (i.e. Zuma or DSCR Prime), FHA Streamline, and VA IRRRL loans.
AUS is also not available once your loan has been Submitted to Underwriting.
Q: Why am I receiving a DU error stating, "Owned Property Disposition (Status) is missing"?
A: This error may occur when a MISMO 3.4 file imports blank REOs. You can review the REOs on the URLA -> Real Estate page and can clear any blank ones by clicking the -Remove button.
Q: Why am I receiving a DU error stating, "WARNING - HOUSING_EXPENSE / TIMING_TYPE (LOAN_1) - Valid value required ('Present' dropped)"?
A: On Real Estate, you will need to enter state the Property's Disposition status:
- H - Held (aka Retained)
- PS - Pending Sale
- R - Rental
- S - Sold
For Investment properties, you would select R, PS, or S, while for primary and second homes, you would select H.
Q: Why am I receiving the DU Findings error, "Both Lender ID and Sponsored Originator EIN not allowed. Please submit either Lender ID or Sponsored Originator EIN"?
A: On FHA loans, the AUS process will ask for both the FHA Lender Identifier and FHA Sponsored Originator EIN. You will need to clear the FHA Lender Identifier to remove this error.
Q: Why am I receiving the DU Findings error, "Loan Application Data Warnings"?
A: There is an existing DU casefile ID in the system that is not released. This would need to be released in order to run findings or removed if you are trying to run a new DU.
To remove, navigate to the URLA section, Additional Information and remove the Casefile ID.
