Ordering Follow-Up Appraisals
If you need to order any additional appraisal products like a 1004D, you can create a follow-up order.
Click Order Actions and choose Create Follow-up Order.
Next, you will select the select the appraisal product, confirm the payee, request a rush priority, or confirm your due date.
The appraisal product will be blank. You can start typing to search for your product like 1004D or you can scroll to review all the options.
The order fee shows the base appraisal cost per JMAC Lending's fee schedule.
Next, select whether the borrower or the correspondent will be paying for the appraisal.
IMPORTANT: We can support split payment. After creating the order, click Team Conversation, add a message to with the Payee First and Last Name, Email Address, Role, and the Amount Split, and click Send.
Click Add Another Product if you need to order a separate 1007 or 216.
The due date will automatically be set to 7 business days and if set to Rush priority, it will automatically update to 3 business days. Click the due date if you would like to extend the due date.
If you select a Rush priority, an additional $150 rush fee will be added to your order.
IMPORTANT: A rush priority is dependent on the AMC ability to accommodate and cannot be guaranteed.
After clicking Create, you can add any additional contacts.
- Option 1: Enter their first and last name, role, email, cell phone, work phone, and home phone, and click Create.
- Option 2: Click Skip if you don't need to add additional contact.
Note: Contacts can be added or updated at any time on your order.
Sending the Payment Link
Next, you can either enter a credit card or send a payment link to your borrower or correspondent.
IMPORTANT: The Intent to Proceed Date is required. The borrower cannot pay for the appraisal until the Intent to Proceed has been provided on or after the date of the issued Initial Loan Estimate.
Click the Payment tab and click Create Payment.
If you receive this error message, click to Loan Summary page in JMAC Connect and return to Order Appraisal to refresh the payment calculations.
Option A: Enter Credit Card Information
If the correspondent is paying with a credit card, you can select Pay With Card, select Enter New Card, and click Submit.
A new browser tab will open to allow you to enter a credit card.
Option B: Send Payment Link
You can also send a payment link to either the borrower or correspondent. Select Send Payment Link, choose the borrower or correspondent contact, and click Submit.
An email will be sent to the borrower or the correspondent to collect their appraisal payment.
What's Next
Payment is required prior to sending the appraisal order to the AMC for assignment. To learn more about appraisal payments, read Paying for an Appraisal.
Next, they will send the order to the appraisal company for acceptance and appraiser assignment. The appraisal company will also update the order due date with their current turn times. Appraisal turn times do vary between appraisal companies.
Once the appraiser reviews your order, they will request any clarification, additional documentation, or fee increases through Reggora. Fee increases will require approval prior to inspection. Next, the appraiser will contact the borrower to schedule the inspection.
